Wow! Jackson has definitely grown and is making his presence known! He kicks all of the time now and I can now feel him throughout the day instead of just when I'm laying quietly. His kicks are so strong already, which is nice because Ryan can feel him too. According to my most recent doctor's appointment my belly growth is now right on target, which means I haven't gotten any bigger since 14 weeks, akthough Jackson sure has! We have our next ultrasound on Monday and I can't wait to make sure everything is ok and see more pictures of him!

There's a Frog in My Belly!
Not really, but it sure seems like it! We felt Jackson kick for the first time the other night and he's been at it ever since! He feels like a little froggy swimming around and Ryan was even able to feel the little kicks himself. I am now almost 5 months pregnant, which is hard to believe, and half-way through with my pregnancy! Too bad we have almost nothing prepared or bought for this baby! Between everything else going on I have been able to do next to nothing shopping wise (although I did start the registry) and his nursery is still full of boxes. Hopefully we'll be able to carve out some time soon to organize and shop!

Seventeen And Eighteen Weeks
Wow! What a difference one week makes in belly size! I still haven't felt Jackson kick, but I don't even know how to recognize it if he does. School has also started and while it's nice to get back into a regular routine it definitely ups my exhaustion level. Standing on my feet for hours each day has been difficult! Unfortunately due to the stress of starting school again, taking classes for my master's, planning a wedding, and preparing for this baby I have actually dropped weight instead of putting it on! It would be nice if I could insulate myself in a little cocoon until the baby is born because I know how bad stress is for him. Too bad life doesn't work that way! Hopefully things slow down soon and my stress level will go down accordingly!
